You could rely on your fellow comics to give you input into your act or you could receive inspiring and expert input from an outside eye. Beginners welcome too. After every session you receive a video or audio of the session and you get detailed notes. Here is an example of the first page of the kind of notes you can expect (the identity and material of the comic is hidden.)

Improve your stand-up on Zoom
This is the session for you if you are doing stand-up.
- you might have a a script to work on and/ or a video of a gig
- or simply some ideas to discuss.
If you share a video, we will watch key sections and discuss what’s working and where you can improve your delivery, performance and stage craft. I can also help you develop your persona.
In terms of material, you can either send me some script or notes in advance or talk me through it in the session.
It might be a story or a routine that you are trying to figure out. Or a bit that's stopped working. Or some jokes you want to punch up.
Whatever it is, you'll leave with lots of new ideas. I will go over your material, showing you where you can improve it, find new angles, and I'll share new tools for you to work with.

Beginners

This is the session for you if:
- you haven’t done stand-up yet.
- you have an open-spot booked, or intend to do one.
- or would simply like to explore how to get started.
* Come to the session with ideas for material that we can work on – or at least some topics you might talk about.
* I will help you develop material.
* I'll give you writing tools and techniques.
* I will give you performance tips.
* Also you can send me links to 2 short stand-up videos from comedians you like for us to analyse.
Going over these videos I will show you the writing and performing techniques they are using and will show you how you can use them too.

What is a Zoom stand-up coaching session like?
To give you a flavour I produced this short video (from an hour long session).
For confidentiality, I have edited it to hide the comedian - and where she does appear briefly in this edit I put up a curtain! Plus for follow up viewing, I talk about switching from positives to negatives in this snippet from my Zoom stand-up persona classes.
