If you’re writing a comedy script (TV, radio, stage or anything else) and would benefit from deadlines, inspiration, expert feedback and camaraderie, this is the group for you! Script Spark is set up to provide you with feedback, coaching and support to get your script written and to enhance your writing. Weekly sessions across 5 weeks on Zoom. 6 places only!

Join us on Zoom for Script Spark, a supportive group for scriptwriters who are working on a comedy script. This group provides ongoing support, deadlines, coaching, and inspiration to keep you focused and organized.
Each week you can share new writing, scenes you're stuck on, story plans or anything else for discussion and analysis in the class. With the opportunity to ask questions, get feedback from me and fellow writers, and guaranteed accountability and focus, this is the perfect environment to complete your script, or punch up an existing script, to take your comedy writing up a notch.
On this course you will:
set goals and deadlines to get your script done
hang out with a friendly bunch of comedy writers
get expert input into your writing
make your writing stronger and funnier
Gain invaluable insights into your comedic writing through live readings of your scenes and excerpts. The creative and thoughtful feedback provided by your peers and myself, offers diverse perspectives to refine your comedic writing, dialogue, and characterisations.
Plus you can request topics for coaching and discussion:
Identify specific areas of your comedic writing where you seek improvement, such as crafting effective comic lines, writing comedic dialogue, developing memorable characters, or mastering the intricacies of a comedy narrative - and I'll do some coaching on the subject!
Maximum 6 writers for personalised focus and maximising time looking at your work. Whatever your goals, the collective wisdom and shared experiences of the group alongside my insights and industry experience will provide invaluable direction and encouragement.
